New Orleans News Story - WDSU New Orleans
"This is very close to my own home, but I didn't see it myself. I would of had a great laugh if I would of seen it."
A construction sign read "Unicorn Xing Ahead" on Bonnabel Boulevard between West Esplanade Avenue and Veterans Memorial Boulevard at about 9 a.m. The sign was changed at about noon and read "Cautiom Zombies Ahead." Presumably, the word "cautiom" was meant to be "caution."
Neither the mythical one-horned animal nor the walking dead
were seen by WDSU crews at the scene.
Of course the sign had been hacked, because it was suppose to be letting us know about bridge work coming over the weekend. It was unclear how many other signs may have been hacked.
The sign was eventually shut off Friday afternoon. Therefore ending the laugh for everybody and most likely ending the hunt for Unicorns and Zombies! ;)
So, be aware if you see a sign telling you something that just don't seem right, most likely it isn't.
