The Saints kick off @ 7:20PM Halloween, so this year kids I guess we'll either have to move Halloween or just skip it altogether, because I be darn if I am going to miss the dang game for you!
Should trick-or-treating be moved
to avoid conflict with the Saints game?
I heard on CNN this morning that the moms of New Orleans, want to move Halloween to Saturday, to avoid the Saints game. Really? No, way, huh? I don't remember saying that. I have been know to sleep walk when I was little and do talk too once in a while so that's must of been when I gave them such a dumb idea. I've told my family never ask me anything when I am a sleep or I just woke up. Sorry, y'all please forgive me for being do dang dumb.
But really, come on Halloween is a holiday it's special and it's suppose to be for the kids! I know us adults have been know to take over, but this is too much. I love the saints and I believe in being a true fan, but I am a fan of my kids first.
I went on over to NOLA to make sure they know it wasn't my fault I was sleeping honest I was. The Treat Dats aka moms who did get a vote, are suggesting that people place homemade "Treat Dat Here" signs in their windows to "indicate to their neighbors that they will be welcoming trick-or-treaters on Saturday, Oct. 30, and watching the game on Sunday, Oct. 31."
When I read their story I kind of understand the (3) moms who did say this and yes, they were awake. They made a good point and I really think they are only trying to help. I still don't think it should be moved myself. I just think we should hit Tivo, record it and have it on catch what we can, but combine Saints and Halloween to make it a even better party.
We can always go back later and fast forward to see parts we missed. We can't do that with Halloween we would have to wait a year. If you want to read the article and vote go on over to NOLA see what the poll reads now.
I posted a comment over there under laflowerbug
What do you think? what would you do if you were living here and if you do live here what do you think about this idea?
