I LOST MY PUPPY IN A FIRE, PLEASE DON'T LOSE YOURS

I know first hand how important this type of decal can be.  As a child my puppy died inside our home fire and to this day it still hurts a little when I think about it.  We lived in a new trailer at the time and since the puppy was not house broken yet, we had him inside a room with paper and the door shut.  The fire started in the middle of the trailer in the living room my little brother, thank God slept there on the sofa that night for some reason and he came to me instead of my mom.  Yes, my little brother saved my life!  We ran back threw the fire right pass the door the puppy was in to go to my mother's room.  Her door was locked and we kept banging over and over until we woke her.  "My mom was sick and she had taken cold medicine that night." Once we got my mom up we ran outside called the fire department and stood there watching as our trailer burn to the ground faster then we could of ever imagined. While watching I remembered our puppy and I tried so hard to run back in, but of course they wouldn't let me.  One of the firer fighters tried to go get him, but it was to late.  They say the smoke would of killed the puppy before he burned, I sure hope they were right and he didn't hurt.  As you can see this is very important to me, so please, please put this in your window.  If I can help save just one animal by sharing my story it will make me feel better.  

Believe me, when a fire happens you are in such a panic it's very hard to think of anything except getting out.  

I would also suggest that you keep all your pictures and important papers on disk or somewhere online.  Mainly pictures I am speaking of, we lost so many memories back then there were no computers in the home.
