PEANUT BUTTER IS ABOUT TO GO SKY HIGH
Due to droughts, the price of peanut butter has gone up from $450 a ton to $1,150 a ton in just the last year and now peanut butter makers are about to start passing the increased costs to us the consumers.
This rise will be starting as soon as October 31, 2011.
If your a family that uses peanut butter a lot I'd start stocking up on it like crazy.
One good thing is peanut butter last a long time.
If you do baking at the holidays with peanut butter don't forget to take that into consideration when buying now. Check you coupons and see if you have any for peanut butter. Most of the time the,

According to, The Wall Street Journal reports, wholesale prices will be rising as follow:
- Jiff going up 30% beginning in November
- Peter Pan will increase by as much as 24% in a couple weeks.
- Skippy prices are already 30% to 35% higher now then a year ago.
- And Planters Peanut Butter will be raising it's prices 40% on Oct 31.
