Get The Best Price When Shopping Online!

Money is tight and we all need to make sure we are getting the best price when it comes to spending our hard earned cash. So you need to shop carefully, right.  Of course, it is.  And it's always a good idea to compare prices and shop around, I know you know all this that's why your even on my blog.  But, don't you hate it when, right after you buy something and you thought you got a great price, you find it cheaper at another store?  Yeah, me too!  You could maybe prevent this by, checking back and forth at each and every store before you buy it.  Yeah right!  Who has the time to check each and ever store, right.  I know how frustrating that can be, I've put myself threw it many of times.  You know, trying to make sure I get the best price and worrying that I'll pay to much.

There is a way you can do it, to make sure you do get the best price.  And you can do it without manually slaving away checking each store over and over.  Did you know that most stores will give you a rebate for the difference, that's right.  If the item goes on sale right after you bought it, they call it a price-protection policy.   The only bad thing is, you have to know about the sale to get a rebate obviously.  You could watch the prices manually, but who has that kind of time?  Or you could try Kim's Komando's cool pick of the day!  It's the Price Protectr,  a FREE program that works for you.  What the Price Protectr does is it watches prices on purchased items for you.

Price Protectr watches 160 stores, including Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, Costco, Sears and Staples.   It's super simple too!  All you have to do is, copy the Webpage of the product you bought into Price Protectr. Then enter your e-mail and wait.  Sounds easy enough, right?  The site will e-mail you if the price drops within the protection period. Then you can apply for a rebate.
The best way to know what the protection guarantee is, is to check the store guarantee before you make your final purchases.
I know Amazon's price protection guarantee only covers televisions. "
Even so they will show you when items of theirs drops, which makes it a good buying tool too." Some other stores may have similar restrictions.  Like I said, just check store policies before buying, and maybe if you shop there often or you think you may again, write yourself a little note or print out what that store policy is.  That way it will save you time down the road.

Thank you Kim, for the reminder I can't believe I forgot about this tool.  My mind seems to be out at recess a lot lately.
Thanks again, and May you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!

Good luck I hope you save BIG BUCKS! :)
